01Who we are

This website is run by MakeAClick (“we”, “us”), a software and design studio based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. We are responsible for the personal data collected through this site.

02What we collect

When you contact us

If you use the contact form, we receive:

• your name, email address and phone number;
• the type of project you selected and your message;
• basic technical details sent with the form: device type, browser and operating system, screen and window size, time zone, language, the page you sent it from and the site that referred you.

If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to send.

When you browse the site

Only if you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used (pages visited, approximate location at city level, device and browser type, how you arrived). If you decline, Google Analytics does not set cookies and we do not receive this information in a form that identifies your browser.

03How we use it

• to reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project;
• to prepare proposals and, if we work together, to deliver and invoice the work;
• to understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site (analytics, with your consent);
• to keep the site and form secure and prevent spam or abuse;
• to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

04Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent (when you submit the form or accept analytics cookies) and, where applicable, for legitimate uses permitted under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, such as responding to a request you started. Visitors in the EU or UK: our bases are consent and our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries you send us.

05Who we share it with

We only share data with service providers that help us run the site and the business:

• Google (Google Workspace and Google Sheets store form submissions; Google Analytics, if you consent);
• Cloudflare (hosting and security for this website).

These providers may store data on servers outside India. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.

06How long we keep it

• Enquiries that don’t become projects: up to 24 months, then deleted.
• Client records: for as long as needed to deliver the work and meet tax and legal requirements.
• Analytics data: up to 14 months, then deleted automatically by Google Analytics.

07Cookies and local storage

We store your cookie choice in your browser’s local storage (key mac-consent) so we don’t ask again. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_*, which last up to two years.

To change your choice, clear this site’s data in your browser and reload the page; the banner will appear again.

08Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
• correct, complete or update it;
• delete it, unless we have to keep it by law;
• withdraw consent you gave earlier (this doesn’t affect anything done before you withdrew);
• nominate someone to exercise these rights for you in case of death or incapacity.

Email hello@makeaclick.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India (or, in the EU/UK, your local data protection authority).

09Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

10Children

This site is meant for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11Changes and contact

We’ll update this page if our practices change and revise the date at the top. For anything related to your data, including grievances, contact us at hello@makeaclick.com.
